Equine Tension Release Therapy (ETRT)

Equine Tension Release Therapy is a combination of massage, gentle pressure on trigger points and manipulation of muscle groups and soft tissue.

Sarah has been working on my horses since 2015. I have riding horses and Clydesdales that are shown in harness, led classes, ridden and compete in ploughing competitions.

Whether it’s following an injury or in preparation for a show, Sarah plays a critical part of keeping my horses supple.

I ask a lot of my horses physically and mentally. I’m always seeking that little bit more suppleness, kindness and movement from all my horses, and I believe Sarah helps me to achieve this by the work she does on releasing tension, correcting muscle alignment and relaxing my horses before and after an event.

Prior to Sarah working on my horse, he was not giving me 100% when turning to the near side and short on all gaits. Bandit is a unique horse in that he generally needs to be warmed up and trotted out before an event.

After a session with Sarah he was ready to go, no warmup needed and totally feeling free in all gaits. There was a vast improvement in his athletic ability in a short period of time.
